Thank you to my teacher charie.

시간이 안 맞을 때 다른 선생님과 수업을 해봤어요. 근데 저에게 맞는 선생님은 sam이라는 확신이 들어요. 그래서 이제는 선생님 근무 시간에 최대한 수업을 받으려 아침에도 일어나 수업을 신청합니다. 선생님이 끊어읽어 주시는 포인트가 따라하기 편하고 제가 a, an, the, to, 그리고 끝에 붙는 s도 많이 틀리는데 때마다 잡아주시는 것도 감사해요. 최대한 많이 따라할 수 있도록 문장 반복도 많이 해주시고, 담당 학생도 많으실텐데 제 스케줄 기억해 주시는 것도 감동이에요. 열정적으로 잘 가르쳐 주셔서 감사합니다. 선생님만 따라가면 1년 후에는 더 편하게 프리토킹할 수 있겠죠? 영어를 모국어처럼 편하게 sam과 얘기해 보고 싶어요. 열심히 하겠습니다.

선생님과의 첫 만남이라 처음에는 아이가 조금 긴장한듯하고 어색해했지만, 선생님께서 아이가 집중할 수 있도록 잘 이끌어 주셨고, 아이의 대답에 따뜻하게 반응하며 이야기에 귀 기울여 주셔서 매우 알찬 수업이었던 것 같습니다. 수업을 마치고 아이가 "선생님이 내 마음을 잘 알아주시는 것 같아서 좋았어."라고 말하더라고요. 덕분에 정말 만족스러운 수업이었습니다.

천천히 말씀해주셔서 듣기는 하겠으나 내 능력이 부족해 답하지 못해 영어의 필요성을 더 느끼게 됐어요. 공부를 시작해서 잘 말하고 싶어졌어요. 친절하게 대해주셔서 감사했어요^^

선생님이 너무 좋으셨어요. 이제까지 전화 영어 경험이 좀 있는데 제일 가르치는걸 잘하실꺼같은 느낌이 들었고 선명하게 잘 들리고 화질도 좋고 좋았습니다. 빈시간없이 꽉 찬 느낌의 무료지만 훌륭한 수업이였습니다.

I believe English learning through real conversation with you has made a significant difference in my progress. I never felt that your classes were burdensome or like “studying” in the traditional sense. Instead, I felt comfortable, motivated, and excited to speak about various issues and topics. While I know I still have a long way to go in expressing my opinions properly in English, each session was a great challenge that encouraged me to think, reflect, and try my best to speak. This growth was only possible because of you. Your wide-ranging knowledge made every conversation enjoyable and meaningful, and I always looked forward to sharing ideas with you. I also appreciate how you carefully corrected my grammar, expressions, and word choices, helping me develop confidence and accuracy. Regarding the Callan Method, I was fortunate to experience five trial lessons, which felt very different from the ESL classes. Initially, it was challenging to adapt, but I soon adjusted and found value in its unique approach. The repetitive practice of sentence structures—without overthinking or hesitation—helped me become more familiar with essential English patterns. It encouraged me to build a habit of modifying and answering questions naturally and quickly. Though it was only a brief experience, I would recommend it to students who struggle to respond due to overthinking. Maria, you are truly professional in both teaching styles, and I am grateful for everything you have given me—not only as a teacher but also as a friend. Your guidance, support, and kindness have left a lasting impression on me. I wish you all the best in your journey ahead, and I trust that God will lead you to the right place at the right time.
