면접영어 수업 후기 [Interview English class review]

저번에 토익스피킹 후기 남겼는데, 벌써 면접영어수업도 다 끝이났습니다!ㅎㅎ

Job Interview 후기가 잘 없어서 혹시 궁금하신 분들 있으실까봐 남겨봅니다.

I posted a review about Toeic speaking before, and I’m already done with job interview English class!

There’s not much job interview reviews, so I’m posting a review about job interview for people that have questions about it.

간단히 토스 후기 남기자면,,

토익스피킹은 전화영어 거의 한 달 수강 후 두 번 정도 치고 레벨7로 마무리 했습니다.

요즘은 하도 '2주만에 끝내기' 뭐 그런 학원홍보가 많지만, 야매(?)로 시험점수만 높이겠다는 것보다

정석으로 나가고 싶었고, 개인적으로 시간 내 대답하는 게 가장 큰 문제였기에 실전처럼 연습하는게 중요했습니다,

게다가 Archie선생님 목소리가 토스시험 남자목소리와 비슷해서ㅋㅋㅋ 적응하기 좋았습니다.

시험 유형은 익숙하니 전체적인 회화실력을 높여서 레벨8 도전할 생각으로 'Job Interview'로 변경했습니다.

 I’ll say a few things about Toeic speaking,,

I only did Toeic Speaking phone talk class for 1 month, but in just 2 tests, I got a level 7 so I stopped taking Toeic Speaking class. These days, there are many ads that says “Finish in less than 2 weeks”, but I didn’t want to just get a better score, I wanted to do it in a proper way. Personally, my biggest problem was replying within the given time, so it was important to practice like the actual test. Plus, teacher Archie’s voice was similar to the Toeic test’s male voice, so it was easier to adjust. I became familiar with the test patterns, so I changed to Job Interview to challenge myself with level 8 so that I can improve my conversation skill.

취준생이다보니 면접시의 영어질문 대비도 하고, 외국계도 지원할 생각이라 면접영어 수업이 기대되었습니다.

수업은 '면접시 묻는 기본 질문' 24개를 중심으로 커리큘럼이 구성되어 있습니다.

Tell me a little about yourself부터  Why should I hire you 등 다양한 질문을 통해

질문의 목적이나 이상적 답변을 살펴본 후, 저만의 답변을 만드는 것이 한 강의 내용입니다.

 Because I’m preparing to employ, I wanted to prepare for the English questions that I’ll receive in the job interview. I’m also thinking about applying to jobs abroad, so I was looking forward to the job interview class. Class is basically composed of curriculums about the 24 “Basic Questions in a Job Interview”. There are many varieties of questions from “Tell me a little about yourself” to “Why should I hire you”. One class is composed of grasping the purpose of the question, looking for the ideal answer, and creating your own answer. 

거의 하루 1~2개 질문이 진도가 나가고, 틈틈이 1번 질문부터 배운 내용까지 전체적인 질문들을

실제 면접처럼 자연스럽게 연습하는 시간을 가집니다.

덕분에 자기소개, 장점 단점 말하기는 하도 해서 무리없이 잘 대답할 수 있게 되었습니다.

교재에 없어도 면접시 자주 하는 질문은 강사님이 따로 가져오셔서 예상외 질문에도 유연하게 답변하는 연습도 합니다.

봉급 얼마 원하냐, 이 직책에 맞는 자격을 갖췄다고 생각하나? 만약 ~라면 어떻게 할 것인가? 같은 질문들을

그 때 그 때 맥락에 맞게 질문하셔서 실제 면접같은 연습을 할 수 있습니다.

In one day, we take up about 1~2 questions, and from the questions learned, we practice like an actual job interview. Thanks to doing this a lot, I could easily answer the self-introduction and explaining my strong and weak points. He also prepares other frequently asked questions that are not in the lesson so that I can practice answering comfortably even when I’m not prepared for it. For example: “How much do you want as your salary?” “Do you think you have the qualifications required for this job?” “If ____ what would you do?” He asks the right questions in the right situation, so I can practice like it’s an actual job interview.

이것도 거의 한 달만에 다 끝났고, 면접교재는 하나밖에 없어서 아쉽게도 다른 수업으로 들어야 했습니다 ㅠ

자격증이며 이력서며 한단 핑계로 아직 수업 녹음파일 딕테이션 못 하고 있지만;;

사실 수업내용 받아쓰기 하고 자기만의 답변 목록 만들어서 계속 연습하면 한 달이면 충분한 것 같습니다.

강사님께서 커리큘럼대로 착착 나가셔서 벌써 토스, 면접 다 끝내버렸네용ㅎ

영자신문도은 워낙 평이 좋아서 기대되네요! ^^

곧 비지니스 영어도 연습하고 싶어서 수강 후 곧 후기 남기겠습니다.

I finished this almost a month, and I had to change to a new class because there is only 1 curriculum for Job Interview class. I’m not doing my dictation on the class recorded files because of my excuse about my qualifications and curriculum vitae, but honestly, 1 month would be more than enough if you note the class details and practice by yourself with your own sets of questions. Because teacher Archie finishes lessons for that day according to the curriculum, I’m already done with Toeic Speaking and Job Interview. I’m already looking forward to English News Class because of the high review! ^^ I also want to practice Business English, so I’ll post a review after classes.
